Jehovah's Witnesses and Christmas

JW's reject Christmas as a pagan holiday.  Some like to drop by on Christmas day and point this out.  I had two drop by one Christmas and had a good talk with them.

They finally asked me if I minded if they asked me a question about my Christmas tree.   I said, sure go ahead.  They then asked me why I had an idol in my house?   I then asked them if their "god" was smart enough to know whether I considered that Christmas tree to be an idol or an ornament?  Total silence.  No answer was given and they changed the subject.
