There was one substantial hill up from Golden.   Cylced to Field (1301 meters, 4269 feet) and then over Kicking Horse Pass (1650 meters or 5414 feet) with a difference of only 349 meters or 1145 feet (less than the Malahat but still a nice hill).   Cycled to the Lake Louise (Banff National Park) Campground.
