I cycled from Mill Bay to work at 4000 Seymour in Victoria.  After work I cycled to Swartz Bay.  I had a flat on the way.  It was a pinch flat, which is the worst type.  This required me to remove the whole tire to find the cause of the pinched tube.   I saw the inside rubber covering was bad at one spoke.   I shifted the rubber slightly so it was no longer exposed to the spoke and put in a new tube.  I MISSED the 4 PM sailing to Tswassen by 1 minute.  I cycled to my cousin's house in Walnut Grove in Langley.   Hills: Malahat elevation gain of 1150 feet, one from Delta to Surrey, one from Cloverdate to Langley, one up 200 Street North with a 10% grade.
