Cycled from Merritt to Kamploops Via Highway 5 (NOT 5a) to McDonald's on right side of Highway (near the bottom of hill) near the Thompson River.  I stayed at the Courtesy Inn Motel.   Two large water bottles were sufficient.   Split Stats: Surrey Lake Summit: Time: 1:47:16 Distance: 33.90 Average: 18.9 Maximum: 41:0
