The elevation gain is the minimum on paper calculation from lowest to highest point.   No dips are included.

I cycled down Marshal Road, right to Sumas(Highway 14), left onto 401 Highway and then along the 401 to McDonald's in Hope on the Old Hope Princeton Highway, then on to Kakawa Lake Resort camp ground.   There were only a few minor hills on this ride.
