The elevation gain is the minimum on paper calculation from lowest to highest point.   No dips are included.

I cycled from Princeton to McDonald's at 1804 Main St., in Penticton BC.   There were a few substantial hills before Penticton.   Guesstimated elevation gain of 500 feet.   We stayed at the Plaza Motel at 1485 Main St. in Penticton (250.492.8631)
