Vernon to Penticton

Get water at Westbank (65K) or one could just make it on 2 x 1 1/2 liter water bottles.   There was one substantial hill from Vernon, from Kelowna to Westbank and another to Peachland.  There was a questimated 1000 feet of elevation gain.  At Penticton (do NOT turn right and follow 97) 97 turns into Ekhardt.  Then turn right at Martin which angles to Main St.   To McDonald's at 1804 Main St.  We stayed at the 5000 Motel on Main Street, two blocks from McDonald's.

The elevation gain is the minimum on paper calculation from lowest to highest point.  No dips are included.
